Self-Compassion

Did you know that self-compassion strongly predicts happiness? Yet a recent study shows that self-compassion is one of the least likely happiness habits to be practiced.

Let's teach our children to be self-accepting. Recognize what your child is doing well, no matter how small. And when your child makes a mistake, use it as an opportunity to learn. And above all else- model for your child that you should be as kind to yourself as you are to others.
