Too much screen time?

Although this list in written in a playful tone, it raises an important question- Is my child spending too much time in front of a screen? In my practice I have observed that the more time kiddos spend playing video games or watching TV, the more they "lose touch with reality" so to speak. I am in no way suggesting children shouldn't have access to electronics- there are actually some really great applications for the use of technology and learning. However, I am encouraging you to take note of how much time your child is spending in front of a screen and encourage those kiddos to get outside and play or hang out with a friend (IN PERSON!)
